Bio

Mr. Desmond Paul was originally from Sri Lanka, where he worked as a Flight Lieutenant for the Sri Lankan Air Force. His last Post, prior to his emigration to the United Kingdom, was Commanding Officer in charge of Air force operational division in Koggala, Sri Lanka. 

Following his arrival in London, he worked as a chief Security officer for the British Airways, prior to settling down in Pontypridd, where he owned his own business for over 30 years, as proprietor of Desmond's Newsagents in Treforest of Pontypridd. 

Desmond married his lovely wife 32 years ago at a church ceremony in Pontypridd. He has two children, a son and a daughter both of whom were born and bred in Pontypridd. They graduated from Cardiff University and have settled down in Wales after marrying Welsh partners. 

Desmond is a conscientious and hard-working man, who is a committed Christian.

He is also serving as a Pontypridd Town Council's representative, as a Governor on the governing body of St. Michael's Roman Catholic School in Pontypridd. 

Desmond's hobbies are watching sports and movies. He is a good entertainer and a charity worker
