a.k.a. Jingles

With a true love for the natural world and an appreciation for the buzzing city, I am keen to explore how they can be combined in balance, an endeavour needed now more than ever, with the consideration of both human and ecological health. My experience has taught me that considering health and wellbeing from different perspectives is integral to creating a sustainable way of being. I aim to carry this principle forward into my practice feeding into the health of the whole, both people and their environment.

I reached out to the community of Pontypridd asking for recipes which include fresh herbs. I have illustrated these and turned them into an online community herb cookbook. This piece aims to encourage a closer relationship to nature in our everyday lives. The use of fresh herbs in recipes supports creative self-care. The phases of this practice, including nurturing the plants, gathering, and using them in recipes, enables a deeper level of appreciation for nature and what it provides. I encourage you to explore the recipes and perhaps pick some of the herbs I have provided at Pete’s Shop to take home with you to use.
