We bring you the pART of Ponty Art Trail 2026, our annual Art Trail taking place across the town centre of Pontypridd, exhibiting the artwork by the graduating students from the BA (Hons) Creative and Therapeutic Arts degree at the University of South Wales. As the Community, Participatory and Socially Engaged Arts Practitioners of the future, the students have produced artwork that has engaged or has been informed by the community of Pontypridd, with some artwork inviting you to interact with the work on display. The exhibition not only showcases their work as artists, but also demonstrates their passion for supporting our community’s wellbeing, their ability to form meaningful connections, in addition to theirs and the community’s resilience during challenging times.

For specific events, workshops and happenings taking place during the Art Trail, please  visit our facebook page.

The Students, Creative and Therapeutic Arts team, and the University of South Wales wanted to use this opportunity to honour and celebrate the wonderful relationships cultivated with the venues, businesses, organisations and communities across our town who have inspired and supported both the artwork and the Art Trail. We invite you to visit the locations of the artwork, immerse yourself in the trail, and enjoy our beautiful town centre and those who live here.

With thanks to all of the venues participating in the Art Trail, and in the workshops leading up to this weekend’s events. With special thanks to Pontypridd Town Council, Your Pontypridd Business Improvement District, Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council and Website Sorted for their support.

We hope that you enjoy pART of Ponty Art Trail 2026, and join us in wanting to wish the graduating students of 2026 well as we launch them into their new careers in Arts and Wellbeing.
