Cwm Taf Morgannwg (UHB) have approved the recommendation that Royal Glamorgan Hospital will commit to delivering a 24/7 consultant led emergency department

The Town Council are delighted that Cwm Taf Morgannwg (UHB) have approved the recommendation that Royal Glamorgan Hospital will commit to delivering a 24/7 consultant led emergency department. We would like to thank Councillor Jayne Brencher who moved forward an emergency motion approved by Council in January and which received unanimous cross party support. We believe this decision was the correct one and will continue to provide the high levels of care that local residents deserve!

Every three years, the Town Council is required, under Section 6 of the Environment (Wales) Act 2016, to report on the actions we’re taking to promote and protect biodiversity in our area. We are delighted to share our latest Biodiversity and Resilience of Ecosystems Report, outlining the projects and initiatives we’ve undertaken to enhance local habitats and support wildlife across Pontypridd. We hope you enjoy reading the report and discovering more about the wonderful green spaces we care for in and around our town.
